5 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard/small forward Norman Powell had the best offensive night of his career during Friday’s win over the Orlando Magic, accruing 33 points on 12-for-18 shooting across his 39 minutes. Powell, whose only previous 30-point outing came during his rookie season in 2015-16, knocked down five threes and added two steals to his stellar performance. Since entering the starting five earlier in November, Powell has averaged 15.9 points per game, giving him vastly more fantasy value than he entered the season with. How his role is affected by Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka’s impending returns remains to be seen, but he holds value for as long as those two are out of the mix.--Jesse Borek
