5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Norman Powell scored 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field and 5-for-7 from three-point range in Saturday's 110-102 victory over the Nets. Powell fell short of his season-high of 12 field goals made on Nov. 29 against the Magic, but the 26-year-old was productive from behind the arc with five made threes. Powell has stepped up in the absence of Fred Vanvleet (knee), with two consecutive 20+ point performances and efficient shooting from the field as a starter. Powell is worth owning in standard leagues for his production in the points and three-pointers made categories, and with VanVleet sidelined, the fifth year shooting guard will continue to earn minutes.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
