5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Norman Powell continued to impress in his return from an 11-game absence on Wednesday. It was his second game back, and against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he led his team in scoring in 27 minutes off the bench. His final stat line only consisted of 23 points and two assists, but it was his second-straight game with at least 20 points. Powell has now passed the 20-point barrier in five of his previous six games. Some would expect a three-week layoff to hinder his performances, but it seems as if he is picking up right where he left off before the holiday season. He is owned in just over 50 percent of leagues and is a valuable waiver wire addition for anyone looking to see a boost in points.--Euan Leith
