5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Norman Powell scored 18 points and added four rebounds on 6-for-10 shooting from the field in Friday's 122-104 win over the Pelicans. The 26-year-old started the second half for Kyle Lowry, who suffered a small fracture in his left thumb and did not return. Powell's 29 minutes were a season-high, and if Lowry is forced to miss an extended period of time, he would benefit from a potential starting spot and increased role.
