Obi Toppin Wins Slam Dunk Contest
3 years agoNew York Knicks forward Obi Toppin won the Slam Dunk Competition on Saturday night in Cleveland. He joined Kenny Walker and Nate Robinson as the third Knick to ever win the competition. Orlando's Cole Anthony and Houston's Jalen Green were the first two contestants to get eliminated. Toppin outscored Golden State's Juan Toscano-Anderson in the final round. Honestly, Toppin appeared as the most consistent contestant throughout the competition. Sadly, his fantasy value in New York isn't as strong as his dunking ability. He normally only plays minutes in the teens, which makes it tough for Toppin to produce consistent value. There is upside in Toppin's game, but it's unlikely his fantasy value changes much in the second half.
