3 years agoToronto Raptors small forward OG Anunoby (hip) and center Khem Birch (knee) have been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Grizzlies. Anunoby's absence now increases to four straight games that he has been sidelined due to a left hip pointer, with Scottie Barnes taking on a larger role on the wing in his absence. When healthy, the 24-year-old Anunoby has enjoyed a career year, averaging 20.1 points per game while getting up 17.7 shots on a nightly basis. Birch has battled injuries this year, but he has been healthy enough to start each of Toronto's three previous outings. His absence should open the door for Pascal Siakam and Precious Achiuwa to hold down the center spot until his return.--Jesse Borek
