4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small/power forward Gabriel Deck is available to make his NBA debut Thursday against New Orleans. Deck, a 26-year-old forward originally from Argentina, has played professionally for Real Madrid since 2018-19. The Thunder were impressed enough by Deck to hand him a three-year deal with an option for a fourth season after he averaged 8.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 31 games during EuroLeague play in '20-21. How quickly OKC acclimates him to the rotation remains to be seen, but with their insistence on running young players out in droves, Deck could be a sneaky snag over the final few weeks of the regular season if he is able to get enough run to become a viable contributor.--Jesse Borek
