4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Oliver Drake earned his first save of the season Saturday vs the Blue Jays. Nick Anderson is the presumptive closer in Tampa, but he was called on to face the heart of the Toronto order with two men on in the seventh inning while the game was tied. Drake faced the bottom of the order with a three-run lead, so despite Drake getting the first save, Cash clearly has more faith in Anderson to pitch in the highest-leverage situation. That strategy could leave some more save chances for Drake, but not enough to chase the veteran reliever in standard-size fantasy leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
