4 years agoTampa Bay Rays have placed reliever Oliver Drake on the 10-day IL with right biceps tendinitis, and have recalled right-hander Ryan Thompson in a corresponding move. Drake converted two early saves for the Rays this season before giving up runs in three-straight outings, raising his ERA to 3.38 on the year. Nick Anderson owners can now breathe a little easier since he'll get the call in the ninth more frequently, especially after picking up his second save of the year versus the Yankees on Saturday. Drake is droppable in shallower leagues since he may not return to as high of leverage role once healthy.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
