4 years agoPoint guard Jeff Teague is set to become a free agent after having been released by the Magic shortly after his acquisition in the Evan Fournier deal. The move is somewhat surprising given how strapped Orlando has been for PG contributions due to the injuries to Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony, but the trio of Michael Carter-Williams, Chasson Randle and R.J. Hampton appears set to handle PG duties for the time being. Teague struggled to find a niche with Boston, getting into 34 games (five starts) and averaging 6.9 points and 2.1 assists across just 18.1 minutes, his lowest average since the 2010-11 year. He could be a name that a playoff-ready squad seeks to add, but his fantasy value likely wouldn't rise with such a signing.--Jesse Borek
