Otto Porter Jr. Plans To Finish Season With Magic
4 years agoOrlando Magic small/power forward Otto Porter Jr. has reportedly not sought a buyout for the final month-plus of the 2020-21 season, making it likely that he finishes the year with the team. Porter has come off of the bench in all three games that he has appeared for Orlando, averaging just 8.0 PPG while shooting 11.1 percent from behind the arc. Set to become an unrestricted free agent at season's end, Porter is coming off of a massive $106+ million deal that he inked with Washington. From a fantasy perspective, he has scuffled to find a consistent role, and with the Magic having little incentive to hand him piles of minutes in April and May, his season-long appeal may be correspondingly taking a hit.
