Otto Porter Struggles With Shot In Loss
6 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Otto Porter was limited to just five points over 22 minutes in Friday's 116-112 loss against the Sacramento Kings. He hit just 2-for-6 from the field while chipping in with three rebounds, two assists and two turnovers. With OPJ struggling with his shot, Kelly Oubre Jr. came off the bench and picked up the slack, dropping 22 points with five three-pointers in 29 minutes off the pine. Jeff Green also factored in a little more than usual to make up for Porter's deficiencies. He has missed more shots than he has made in four of his five games so far this season, hitting just 42.5 percent (20-for-47). Porter shot over 50.3 percent in each of his past two seasons, so he should straighten it out.
