Otto Porter Ties Season Highs In Blocks And Steals
6 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Otto Porter had 15 points, five rebounds, three blocks and three steals in Monday's victory over the Knicks. He was 6-for-9 from the field and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. It was his best overall game since Nov. 24 when he made 12 of 15 shots from the field and finished with 29 points, seven rebounds, four assists along with two steals against the Pelicans. The 25-year-old has now posted three steals in consecutive games for the first time this season and has done so five times overall. Meanwhile, his three blocked shots were the most since the season-opener when he also swatted away three shots. Additionally, the sixth-year pro has not committed a turnover in four straight appearances and six of seven. Porter will look to extend his streak of nabbing at least five rebounds to eight consecutive games in a difficult matchup against the Hawks.
