P.J. Dozier Ruled Out For Wednesday’s Contest
4 years agoDenver Nuggets shooting guard/small forward P.J. Dozier (adductor) will miss Wednesday's game against the Knicks due to a strained right adductor. Dozier had been elevated to the starting five for each of Denver's past six contests, in which he averaged 11.5 points and 3.3 rebounds over 28.2 minutes per outing. His absence on the wing leaves Denver's backcourt in a precariously short situation, meaning that Austin Rivers and Facundo Campazzo are likely to see significant minutes increases, while Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon could see even more shot opportunities. Dozier's next chance to take the floor comes Friday versus Utah.
