P.J. Tucker Continues Absence For Tuesday’s Contest
3 years agoMiami Heat power forward P.J. Tucker (leg) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Washington, marking his fourth consecutive absence due to a leg ailment. The Heat have had to deal with near perpetual injury issues throughout the 2021-22 campaign, with Max Strus, Caleb Martin, and Gabe Vincent all stepping into larger roles with the rotation shuffling. While much of Tucker's value derives from his real life defensive efforts, the veteran has enjoyed a resurgent December when healthy, knocking down triples at a 50% clip while averaging 10 points and five rebounds per contest. His next opportunity to get back onto the floor comes Wednesday vs. the Spurs.
