5 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington was relegated to a bench role on Tuesday as the rookie continues to play through a sore right ankle in the loss to the Rockets. Washington managed to record eight points on 4-for-9 shooting to go along with six rebounds and three assists across 24 minutes of action. The move to the bench was most likely for the reason that the Rockets have been trotting out small-ball lineups, but overall, Washington has been a tough player to hang onto and with only one more game this week, and if you are desperate for wins, you may have to cut him loose.--Gianni Costantiello
