P.J. Washington Unlikely To Return For Sunday’s Game
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward/center P.J. Washington is listed as doubtful to play in Sunday's contest against San Antonio as he continues to work through the league's health and safety protocols. His absence has allowed head coach James Borrego to continue starting his three-headed backcourt trio of LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, and Devonte' Graham, with Miles Bridges serving as the primary forward coming off the bench. Caleb Martin and Cody Martin have already been ruled out for Sunday under the same protocols, making it likely that Gordon Hayward will also have an increased role on the wing for as long as the team is short-handed.
