P.J. Washington Will Miss Sunday’s Contest
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward/center P.J. Washington has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Spurs under the league's health and safety protocols. His absence marks his second in a row, leaving the Charlotte frontcourt thin with Gordon Hayward (back) out in addition to fellow protocol absences Caleb Martin and Cody Martin. With Washington not having been outright deemed unavailable coming into the day, there's at least optimism that he could return Wednesday against Chicago, but that would fall within the seven-day window that the league has traditionally utilized. Miles Bridges stands to see an increased role in the rotation so long as Washington is out.
