Gadzhi Omargadzhiev Suffers Odd Loss Saturday
3 years agoIn a very bizzare way to suffer his first loss, Gadzhi Omargadzhiev took his first professional loss via technical unanimous decision. In a wild ending, Caio Borralho took the technical unanimous decision just 3:56 into the third round of action. Borralho kneed a downed Omargadzhiev. Due to Gadzhi being unable to continue, the bout went to the scorecards, which had Borralho winning the contest 29-27, 29-27, 29-27. In 14:04 of action, Gadzhi tallied only 12 significant strikes (61 total strikes) and was in the control of Borralho for over 10 minutes. It's likely we see this fight run back. Andre Fialho Earns Big First-Round TKO For First UFC Win
3 years agoAndre Fialho's first UFC victory could not have gone much better, knocking out Miguel Baeza in the first round of their contest Saturday night. In 4:39 of action, Fialho tallied 32 significant strikes (about eight per minute), with 19 of those to the head of his opponent. It was just a matter of time before we saw that power translate over onto the big stage. We saw glimpses in his debut. In 15 minutes of action, Laramie was only able to land 15 significant strikes (one significant strike per minute) along with just 22 total strikes. Belal Muhammad Has A Huge Stage On Saturday
3 years agoBelal Muhammad (20-3) has not been defeated in his last seven bouts and has a main-event platform to bolster his standings in the welterweight division. Muhammad's opponent on the night will be the very dangerous striker Vicente Luque. Muhammad has only three professional losses in his career, and just one of those is by finish. The man who earned that honor is none other than Luque, who knocked out Muhammad in their first round of action. A different style of fighter compared to Luque, 15 of Muhammad's 20 career wins have come by decision. DraftKings has Muhammad listed as the underdog with a salary of $7,700. Throughout his UFC career, Muhammad averages 70.6 fantasy points per contest.Source: UFC

Gadzhi Omargadzhiev Set For UFC Debut
3 years agoIt's not often we have two debuting fighters in Saturday night's co-main event, but that's what we have this weekend with Gadzhi Omargadzhiev (13-0) when he brings his undefeated record into the Octagon. With dangerous striking in tow, Omargadzhiev has finished eight of his 13 career victories by knockout/TKO. His Contender Series showing was very impressive, earning a first-round victory with a kneebar. DraftKings sees Gadzhi as the favorite with a salary of $8,400. With his opponent also making his debut after two Contender Series wins, it makes it really hard to place either fighter in your lineups without any hard UFC data to back it up with.Source: UFC
Caio Borralho Set For UFC Debut In Co-Main Event
3 years agoIt is not often the co-main event features both fighters making their debuts, but that is what we have Saturday with Caio Borralho (10-1) coming off of two Contender Series wins in 2021. Borralho is a balanced finisher, with seven of his 10 professional victories coming by a finish -- four of those by knockout/TKO. In his most recent Contender Series showing, Borralho earned a first-round knockout. DraftKings sees Borralho as the underdog with a salary of $7,800. This really makes for a hard contest to bet on because neither fighter has official UFC bouts, aside from Contender Series appearances.Source: UFC
Miguel Baeza Looking To Avoid Three Straight Losses
3 years agoAfter entering the Octagon with a 3-0 record and a Contender Series victory, it has been a rough go for Miguel Baeza (10-2) lately. Both of his professional losses have come in his last two bouts. It should also be noted that Baeza has shown he can finish on the big stage, with all three of his victories coming via second-round finishes. Eight of his 10 career victories have come by a finish, with seven of those by knockout/TKO. With 4.86 significant strikes landed per minute, he will have an advantage over his opponent. DraftKings sees Baeza being able to right the ship as the favorite with a salary of $8,700. Throughout his UFC career, Baeza averages 70.9 fantasy points per contest. Buyer beware: Andre Fialho has plenty of knockout power, and if Baeza rushes in anxiously, he could be put to sleep.Source: UFC
Andre Fialho Set Up For A Potential Underdog Victory Saturday
3 years agoHoping to earn his first Octagon victory after dropping a decision in his debut back in January, Andre Fialho (14-4) will hope to bring his knockout power into the cage against Miguel Baeza. There is no doubt that Fialho is always one strike away from ending his opponent's night. Eleven of his 14 career wins have come by knockout/TKO, including his last four victories. With 3.00 significant strikes landed per minute in the UFC, the odds are high that he could strike at any moment. DraftKings sees Fialho as the underdog with a salary of $7,500. In his debut, he collected 20 fantasy points. If you are looking for a potential underdog main-card fighter to start, Fialho could be your man.Source: UFC
