2 years agoOrlando Magic small/power forward Paolo Banchero kicked off his professional career with a 17-point outing in Thursday's Summer League victory over Houston. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft shot 5-for-12 overall, including knocking down a pair of triples. As projects to be the case for most of the year, Banchero was far from a one-trick pony -- he added a team-high six assists and chipped in four rebounds during his 26 minutes as well. There will be ample offensive competition in Orlando to begin the year, but Banchero has enormous upside as an impact scorer from the get-go.--Jesse Borek
