Pascal Siakam Was Late Scratch Against Knicks
4 years agoToronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam didn't play in Thursday's win over the New York Knicks, with NBA insider Shams Charania saying it was for disciplinary measures after Siakam left the floor early during Tuesday's game against the 76ers. While the initial news of Siakam sitting was met with rumors he might be involved in a potential James Harden trade, the real truth is far less salacious. Siakam should be back in the starting lineup against the Pelicans on Saturday and should be a safe fantasy play with solid upside. That would also send Norman Powell back to the bench. Powell had 17 points in Siakam's place Thursday.
