Pat Connaughton Agrees To Three-Year Contract Extension
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks shooting guard/small forward Pat Connaughton is sticking around with the franchise. Connaughton has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $28.5 million contract extension, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, which after having picked up his player option for 2022-23, gives him a four-year deal worth $34 million. The 29-year-old is coming off having averaged a career-high 9.9 PPG last year, knocking down 2.2 triples on a nightly basis. While he did make 19 starts last season, Connaughton has emerged largely as a significant bench cog, a role he is likely to reprise next season if Milwaukee stays healthy.
