3 years agoPat Perez can always be a bit of a risk because his game can go south at any time, especially off the tee (149th on tour at -0.154 strokes gained). Over the last eight tournaments, Perez is putting at a top-50 level, and his sand saves have been near 60%. Even his around-the-green play has improved. No one knows when the run will end, but why not utilize a low-salaried golfer. Perez lipped out a couple of putts at the Rocket Mortgage classic last week. He finished T14.
