7 years agoPat Perez missed his second straight cut at the Valero Texas Open, shooting rounds of 72 and 74 for a two-over par finish. He missed the cut two weeks ago at the Masters as well and has just one finish inside the top 35 in his last six starts. Perhaps he will get a boost at this week's Zurich Classic of New Orleans, where he will team up with Jason Dufner. Dufner finished tied for fifth here a year ago when he teamed up with Patton Kizzire, though he has also missed the cut in his last two starts. While anything is possible, it's hard to see this team making waves at this week's event.--cmangano
