6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley almost notched a triple-double in Monday's win against the Mavs, ending up with 17 points, nine assists and eight rebounds. He shot 5-for-13 from the field, with all his makes coming from deep, and 2-for-4 from the line. Beverley went into the game ice-cold, having scored a combined total of 13 points in the previous four games. The wheels could come off soon again with the Clippers facing Utah next. The Jazz have allowed the eighth-most points to opposing point guards this season, but Beverley failed to score against them in 25 minutes on Jan. 16.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
