4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley (hand) underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his left hand, which is expected to keep him sidelined for at least three to four weeks. Beverley has been limited to 31 games (all starts) this season due to a myriad of injuries. Even in the best-case scenario, he'll have just a few weeks to ramp up his activity level before the playoffs. Rajon Rondo and Reggie Jackson stand to hold down point guard duties with Beverley unavailable, although both have dealt with their own ailments. Beverley has averaged a career-low 2.1 assists per contest this season, which when combined with his latest injury, means that he can be dropped to the waiver wire in all-sized season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
