5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley will be unable to return for his team’s first-half finale Thursday versus the Boston Celtics due to right groin soreness. Lou Williams is a likely candidate to remain among the starting five, although his offensive output has not varied much with his insertion into the starting group. Despite starting all 40 games that he has appeared in this year, Beverley remains intriguing mostly in DFS and medium or deeper season-long formats, as he finishes the first half averaging 8.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists across 28 minutes on a nightly basis. His next chance at returning comes Feb. 22 against Sacramento.--Jesse Borek
