Patrick Beverley To Sign Three-Year Deal With Clippers
5 years agoPoint guard Patrick Beverley will continue to call Los Angeles home, as the veteran plans to sign a three-year, $40 million deal to remain with the Clippers, as first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Beverley, whose professional career began with international stints in Ukraine, Greece and Russia, has spent the past two seasons with LA and started better than 2/3rds of the team's contests. Known for his defensive intensity, Beverley proves a solid contributor across the board, but he averaged fewer than one steal per game last year for the first time since his rookie season. With the emergence of Shai-Gilgeous Alexander at the point guard spot, how Beverley's minutes total will shake out remains up in the air.
