Patrick Cantlay Can Contend At BMW If He Makes More Putts
3 years agoPatrick Cantlay bounced back over the weekend at the rain-soaked Northern Trust with a 69-68. Shooting all four rounds in the 60's would normally be good enough for a top-ten finish. He ended up tied for 11th. Honestly, it was his best performance since The Memorial in May which Cantlay won at -13. Again, from tee to green, there are few better golfers out there. Cantlay ranks third in the metric for a reason. His game is mostly rock solid. A lot of the reason for his 4.09 birdies a round comes from his ability to hit shots from anywhere. Expect the tenth-ranked golfer in the world to be a presence this weekend.
