Patrick Reed Finishes Fourth At Shinnecock Hills
7 years agoPatrick Reed’s brilliant 2018 continued last week at Shinnecock Hills as the American came very close to making it back-to-back major victories. Reed entered the final round three strokes off the lead, but he came out firing and birdied five of his first seven holes to take a share of the lead. He cooled off on the back nine, however, and finished in fourth place. It was Reed’s best finish since winning the Masters back in April, and he has now made nine consecutive cuts stretching back to February.
