3 years agoPatrick Reed's weekend problems continued for a second straight tournament at The Farmer's. He shot a 72-73 over that weekend as Reed lost copious strokes to the field. Reed is averaging less than 286 yards off the tee and cannot hit anything with accuracy. Those ranks are 135th and 166th respectively. So, if the first two shots are errant, that makes it more difficult to string holes err birdies together. Amazingly, his birdie average ranks 41st on tour (4.47 per round). To overcome his -1.193 strokes gained from tee-to-green (205th), Reed must strike the ball more accurately. If he does not, he will not contend.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
