3 years agoPatrick Reed didn't win the 2020 Northern Trust, but he did win the 2019 version of the event, which was held at Liberty National. So, Reed will look to defend the Liberty National title this week. Reed has been playing steady, consistent golf since the middle of June, but the finishes won't jump off the page at you. In seven starts in that time, including the Olympics, Reed has only missed one cut and finished inside the top-35 in every event. As it was in 2019, playing the par 4's well at Liberty National will be key this week. Reed, who sits T20 in par 4 scoring average on tour this season, as well as 19th in par 4 efficiency 450-500 yards, should have no issue doing that.
