Patrick Williams Drops Career-High 35 Points In Season Finale
3 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Patrick Williams delivered the best offensive performance of his professional career to date in Sunday's win over Minnesota, going for 35 points on 10-for-21 shooting. Injuries limited Williams to just 17 regular-season games (nine starts) in his second year, as he averaged nine points and 4.1 boards per outing. At still just 20 years old, there is room for optimism that Williams' numbers will grow in the years to come, as he shot 51.7% from behind the arc, while averaging nearly one made triple per game. He isn't expected to carry a consistent offensive role with Chicago come the postseason, but he will have some DFS cash content appeal due to his defensive contributions.
