Patty Mills Undecided About Future In Brooklyn
2 years agoUpcoming free-agent guard Patty Mills remains undecided about his future in Brooklyn. He has a player option, which if exercised, would pay him $6.2 million in 2022-23. However, it appears his decision may be based on the future of Kyrie Irving, who reportedly caused moral issues in the locker room after refusing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. While Mills wasn't a consistent fantasy presence, he averaged 13.1 points and shot 37.5% from behind the arc throughout 48 appearances in the starting lineup, so it seems the 33-year-old still has plenty of gas left in the tank. Nonetheless, it's hard to tell how impactful the veteran will be for fantasy managers this season, primarily since it's not known where he'll be playing. But there is still upside for those in deep formats, no matter where he ends up moving forward.
