3 years agoPaul Casey's putter and irons went south in a bad way at The Northern Trust. The 73 on Monday was a microcosm of anything and everything which could go wrong. Putts were missed, shots went errant, and Casey just looked out of it. The body language went south quickly. Fortunately, there is another week for the British golfer to qualify for the playoff finale. Again, the theme of this tournament will be no cut and one has to make their putts. Those fast greens are tricky and will test Casey often. Can he pass those tests? Casey will have to if he expects to qualify.
