5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers small/power forward Paul George poured in the points during Sunday’s win over the Washington Wizards, needing just 30 minutes of action to collect 31 points. It marked his third time hitting the 30-point plateau this season and first since his second game of the year back on Nov. 16. He knocked down four threes and added eight rebounds for good measure, as he continues to be an above-average contributor in both categories. His next matchup comes Tuesday versus Portland, who dramatically ended his tenure with the Oklahoma City Thunder during the playoffs last season, with George likely looking for a bit of one-upmanship.--Jesse Borek
