Paul George Collects Game-High 32 Points In Defeat
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small/power forward Paul George carried the offensive load during Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, accruing 32 points on 8-for-21 shooting, adding 10 rebounds and six assists to his impressive stat line. Still battling a shoulder injury, George’s offensive production was boosted by his ability to get to the free-throw line, where he finished 12-for-14. Like teammate Russell Westbrook, George has scuffled from the field versus Portland, shooting 37 percent through the first four games. Don’t expect George’s aggressiveness to subside anytime soon, with the Thunder needing all that he can deliver ahead of a must-win Game 5 on Tuesday.
