6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George logged his second-lowest minutes total of the season during Friday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, but it certainly wasn’t by design. George finished with 15 points on 5-for-16 shooting on the second leg of a back-to-back, fouling out for the second time this season. The first? Oct. 19 against the same Clippers squad. George won’t have to see the Clippers again unless the two teams meet in the playoffs, but he will have to face the Utah Jazz on Monday, whom he has averaged 39.7 points per game against this season, having exceeded the 40-point plateau on two separate occasions. He figures to be plenty rested and plenty motivated.--Jesse Borek
