Paul George Gets Off To Fast Start In Win Over Knicks
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George poured in a game-high 31 points on 9-for-18 shooting from the field, 4-for-9 from beyond the arc, and 9-for-9 from the free throw line. The 28-year-old added four rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 31 minutes. George got off to a quick start in the game, tallying eight points in the first four minutes and finishing the quarter with 13 points as he knocked down two triples and five of 10 shots overall. He added three rebounds and two assists while posting a plus-18 rating in the opening 12 minutes. It was his second straight game of posting 31 points along with at least four rebounds and four assists as well as the fourth contest in a row where he topped 20 points and grabbed at least four rebounds. The ninth-year pro will look to extend his streak of draining four or more triples to five straight games against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
