Paul George Goes Off For Team-High 25 Points
6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George led the way with a team-high 25 points during Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. George added 11 rebounds, giving him his ninth double-double of the season while also adding five assists and two steals. In addition to leading the league in steals per game (2.24) entering the night, George is firing at will from deep, averaging 8.8 three-point attempts per game over his first 26 contests. His increase in shooting from long range coupled with the early season absence of Westbrook has put George on pace for new career highs in both scoring (24.3) and rebounds (7.9) per game, continuing to remain an elite fantasy option on a nightly basis.
