6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George eviscerated the New York Knicks during Wednesday’s victory, pouring in 35 points on 13-for-22 shooting across just 29 minutes. The five-time All-Star added seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block, taking full advantage of the alpha role he has assumed in Russell Westbrook’s absence. Regardless of whether or not Westbrook returns in time for Saturday’s game against Phoenix, George seems to have turned a corner offensively.--Jesse Borek
