Paul George Logs Practice Sunday
3 years agoThe progress of LA Clippers shooting guard/small forward Paul George (elbow) has been slow in his quest to return to action, but he took a step forward Sunday when he was able to log a practice alongside the team's coaching staff Sunday. Head coach Tyronn Lue said Monday that George isn't officially ruled out from the postseason, even as a regular-season return becomes more unlikely by the day. George averaged 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists across 26 contests before going down, but the Clippers have succeeded without him or Kawhi Leonard (knee) in the mix. Any fantasy managers holding out hope on George in the regular season can likely drop anchor, as it appears playing in any of the final nine games would be a significant change of fortune.
