4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard/forward Paul George led all scorers with 33 points in Tuesday's season opener against the Lakers. He scored 26 second-half points to help the Clippers to a 116-109 win. George shot an outstanding 13-for-18 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc. He also had six rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 36 minutes of action. George was huge for the Clippers, as Kawhi Leonard struggled with his shot, finishing 10-for-26 from the field. The Clippers now head to Denver to take on the Nuggets. George had a tough time against them in the playoffs last season, shooting barely 43 percent from the field, so he should have a chip on his shoulder on Friday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
