Paul Sewald Closes Door For 11th Save
3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Paul Sewald was living dangerously Friday, allowing one hit and two walks before finally getting a groundout to first to finish a 6-5 game against the Los Angeles Angels and earn his 11th save of the season. Sewald notably entered after possible co-closer Drew Steckenrider pitched the eighth inning. Both pitchers are worth rostering as the season draws to a finish, but Sewald still appears to have the slight edge for the highest-leverage spots, and therefore is a higher priority for fantasy managers.
