3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Paul Sewald earned his sixth win of the season Friday, throwing 1 1/3 innings and only giving up a walk while striking out three batters. Sewald has carved out a nice role for himself as the primary setup man in Seattle, with seven holds and three saves, and the wins just pump up that value even further, though relief wins are fluky and hard to rely on going forward. With a 2.45 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts in 29 1/3 innings, Sewald is a worthy add in any format and essential if Kendall Graveman were to be traded.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
