7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry said everybody on the team wants DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) on the roster next season. This is not surprising news, but the Pelicans did play their best basketball after Cousins went down. Cousins averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists over 48 games this season. ESPN reported earlier that the Pelicans are looking to sign Cousins to a two or three year deal. They may end up offering him a max deal, but we'll wait and see how free agency plays out.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
