4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (back) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz despite having been cleared to play earlier in the day. Battling back tightness, Embiid will now cede way to Mike Scott, who figures to see a dramatic increase in DFS appeal with the added minutes and role. When healthy, Embiid has produced at an elite level this season, having averaged 34.3 PPG over his last 11 contests. His next chance to take the floor comes Wednesday versus Houston, a much more favorable matchup to continue his MVP push.--Jesse Borek
