7 years agoThe Detroit Pistons have acquired veteran point guard Jameer Nelson from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for center Willie Reed and a potential pick swap in the second round of the 2022 NBA draft. Nelson will fill a much needed role as the backup point guard for Detroit with Reggie Jackson (ankle) still sidelined. Nelson is reunited with his former head coach, Stan Van Gundy, and should play well off the bench for Detroit, though he won't see consistent minutes once Jackson returns and lacks fantasy upside.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
