5 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington came through on Monday with a strong line that included a double-double in the three-point loss to the Trail Blazers. Washington struggled to knock down his shots as he made just six of 15 from the floor but still totaled 20 points while grabbing 11 boards and adding three assists, two steals and two blocks with three triples for the excellent line. Washington had posted two duds in a row entering this one and any owners who were thinking of dropping the rookie will need to hang on after this stellar line.--Gianni Costantiello
