3 years agoToronto Raptors center Precious Achiuwa (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Portland as he continues to battle a shoulder ailment. Achiuwa's absence will be his second in a row, paving the way for Pascal Siakam to draw another start as the team's center. Chris Boucher and Khem Birch figure to also have sizable roles within the second unit, but Siakam was the only Raptor to record more than six boards in Toronto's first game without Achiuwa. While the offensive contributions of the 22-year-old remain erratic, his rebounding (8.7 per game) gives him a consistent season-long floor when healthy. His next chance to take the floor comes Thursday vs. the Jazz.--Jesse Borek
